for the dollar; in fact, it has become our best sellling model. The combination of a RAAL ribbon tweeter, Accuton dome mid,
and Scan-Speak woofer is exceptional in detail and imaging. The ported version is designed for flexible placement (the port can be mounted on the front or back) and digs very deep in bass extension with no subwoofer needed. We know of no other 7" woofer that performs as well in bass quality and impact; in fact, we invite you to compare with any other speaker using a woofer of this size. The curved cabinet looks great and we line the interior with a composite foam to lower coloration. The baffle thickness is 1" and all other walls 3/4" with additional internal bracing.
