Finally a musical subwoofer that can also handle home theater duty with aplomb. The Fondazione ("foundation") has two 10" woofers driven by a 500-watt amplifier. The sealed box allows for a compact design that can move quite a bit of air, close to that of a single 15" driver. Active
equalization extends the bass and a subsonic filter prevents excessive excursion at frequencies below 15hz. With parametric
equalization you can notch out your most offensive room peak.
