Being a true 3-way design the RC3R achieves a very high level of performance in a cabinet size similar to
many 2-way designs.
Anchored by the famous Scan-Speak 18W8545 woofer the bass extension and impact is exceptional (something
this 7" driver is widely praised for). The upper midrange is removed from this driver and handled by a Morel 2" dome midrange.
The low moving mass and wide dispersion of the midrange result in very natural and articulate vocals.
The Fountek ribbon tweeter adds excellent top end extension and detail without being harsh or too forward.
With all drivers being operated conservatively the RC3R sounds very clean and dynamic.
